I love Jane Austen and have multiple copies of each of her books, Loved the feel and design of these, so bought the boxed set. Have found multiple editing errors in Pride and Prejudice, which is the first book I am reading. Of course, I have the book almost memorized, so it is easy to spot the errors; however, am about halfway thru the book and have found 14 major edit mistakes so far - wrong words, wrong tense, missing words etc. etc.
Looked up the publisher - World Cloud - they are in San Diego but the back of the title page has that the books were printed in China. Maybe they need to get better editors for an English author, although it is really really sloppy to make this many mistakes in a book that is SUCH a classic and SO well known.

A tad apprehensive about the rest of the books in the set. If they have as many mistakes, it will be pretty sad.
Meanwhile , I am correcting the errors with a sharp pencil and careful penmanship.

SO if you are a Jane Austen lover, may need to balance the look and feel of the books against the jarring sensation that happens when you hit an error while reading.

I am so impressed with this collection. The detail that was put into each book is amazing! The quotes that look like it's pressed into the covers and the way the back cover is done is really beautiful. It's my favourite book set I own now and I get to much joy having them in my own personal library. The quality is just so perfect. I love the soft bound covers, they are so comfortable in your hands so it makes it so easy to read. I took pictures of my set and showed people on Facebook and everyone was amazed about how lovely this set truly is. It's breathtaking! Perfect for yourself or even a gift for someone. No one would be disappointed!

While I love Jane Austen, this set was very badly edited, with many misspellings and wrong word. It was jarring to read because , being familiar with the text, I was stopping every ten or so pages to correct the errors; there were over forty substantive errors in Pride and Prejudice alone. Shame on the folks who printed this set; while the binding was lovely, the contents were corrupted.
