June 2, 2024This set doesn’t seem to know who it’s for. It includes features that would suggest it’s for playing and enjoying, but it’s so extraordinarily flimsy that, should you ever want to enjoy any of these features, that panel, and every panel nearby, will just fall off. And if you succeed in putting those panels back on, you’ll probably have pieces left over that came off in the process that you’ll never be able to correctly place again. Having just about every external panel be removable (why?) means there are massive panel gaps, and the panels under the ship are secured by … magic?I have dreamt about owning this set for years and now wish I never bothered. I’ve never been so disheartened by a build experience. The internal frame is so sturdy but that build philosophy doesn’t translate to the external panels. And the reinforcing the bones of the ship require to support everything limits the space inside for the two interior sections. So they actually aren’t to mini figure scale … so why bother? I’ve had to repair and rebuild this thing so many times and I haven’t even finished it yet. There’s difficult builds, and then there’s just poor design. And this is the latter. You bit off more than you can chew with this one, Lego.

May 2, 2024After day dreaming forever about owning the iconic Millennium Falcon, I finally picked it for myself and I have zero regrets.
The build itself is split into 17 sections all with 5/6 bags full of Lego. I would spend a relaxing Sunday afternoon completing a section with a cup of tea! This personally made it worth the money as this build lasted me over 3 months.
From previous reviews I can see people had parts missing, that was not the case for me.
Attention to details is key with these big builds! Make sure your put the technic pieces in the right places to avoid any headaches down the line.
Talking about attention to detail - Interior is just as good as the exterior. The different rooms with the details is amazing.
The panels are loosely placed on. If you take them off, your either need to put the back in the same sequence to make sure they all fit back how they should.
I’ve managed to wall mount mine using a designed fixture which I’ve 3D printed. With some slight modifications to the panels to make sure they don’t fall off, this looks amazing in the office!
I would 100% recommend but only if you’ve got the space to display!

November 14, 2024Where does someone even start with such a magnificent set like this. Still one of the biggest sets of all time from one of if not the most iconic series of all time with such an iconic ship. It is so much fun building this. Let us knock out the negatives first, starting with the price. $850 is steep, I get that. You are buying this set to complete and show off your collection of lego. It is expensive, but you have to have this in your collection if you like lego sets and Star Wars. The next only real downside of this is the instructions are a little outdated with what I would consider stellar instructions that are released with current sets. Here and there there are issues that are a little challenging to wrap your head around just what is happening. Now onto the positives. This set looks AMAZING! there is so much detail that matches the movies so well, you get a solid amount of minifigures if that is your jam, and you get to flex such an impeccable design. It is expensive, but we all know that especially with lego it will be expensive, but man does it do a good job. Save up for this, it is well worth what you get.

March 25, 2024This is the best Lego set I have ever built. It's huge. It takes a lot of time, patience, and attention to build. It requires space to display it. But once you've dive in, from the first step to the last, it is an absolutely incredible building process. I stretched it out and spent 1-2 hours per day for a month, which made the cost worth it. The building techniques are so unique, and it's a lot of fun to see how it all comes together. In the end, you've got the best Millennium Falcon model you could have. The level of detail is astonishing and really rewards looking at it up close. I recommend displaying it vertically on the Efferman MOC stand for maximum effect. So happy I got this, worth every penny both for the building experience and for the fantastic showpiece you have at the end. Five stars, hands down the best Lego experience I've ever had, and I've been building Legos for over 30 years. Get it, you won't regret it - just make sure you have the time and space to build it and somewhere to display it! And a light kit and display case really make it pop if you want to show it off. Thanks, Lego, for making such an awesome set.
