After much research I decided to order the iPhone 11 Pro as many reviewers said that despite being an older model it still held its own and was one of the best models around.

It arrived quickly and well packed, as it always does when ordering from CeX.

The phone itself was in immaculate condition, just the smallest of scratches on the side, and if I’m honest I really had to search to find anything.

When I fired it up there was a minor issue with setting up, namely the update was slower than a snail travelling backwards. However, I believe this was in part due to my internet, and partly (through research) down to the update having issues for everyone.

But once the update was completed (it took forever) the phone was amazingly responsive and fast for an older model, and I can see why so many still rate it as one of the best.

Of course, being Apple, all my settings and apps got transferred over from my old phone easily enough no I was good to go.

So what are the pros, why did I change phones?

I previously had the iPhone SE 2nd Gen, which was pretty good, but as with all the ‘cheaper’ models of iPhone the camera was only average.

The camera on the iPhone 11 Pro is so much better, or I should say the triple camera. The max 10 times zoom is pretty good, although does distort a little at max. But the picture quality for everyday (without max zoom) is superbly crisp and pleasing to the eye.

Then there’s the processor speed. It might be a slightly older processor but my word is it till responsive and quick. So many reviews I read said that the phone was sluggish, but I’ve not found that to be true. It’s every bit as quick to respond as my previous phone, in fact it’s a little faster despite being older.

And then there’s the battery life.

As always, when it arrived I checked the health, and as with previous orders the battery health was down. I raised this in store and was reassured that if the battery started raining fast and for no reason it would be replaced free of charge under the 2 year guarantee. To put this in perspective, my previous 2nd Gen SE has a brand new battery in that’s still at 100%, whilst my new iPhone 11 Pro has 72% health. Now that might sound bad, but side by side with my SE 2nd Gen the 11 Pro battery life is still lasting longer. Honestly, if the battery is this good on lower health, I can’t wait to replace the battery and see how much longer it lasts. I mean it already happily lasts a day on average use (a few texts, a call or two, a little internet search) and still has power to spare for the next day if not for the fact I charge my phone every night.

And finally there’s the colour and size. The colour (Midnight Green) is stunning and the phone size is absolutely perfect for one handed use. It’s not too big or too small.

Over all this phone is outstanding, and once again CeX delivered quickly and provided a truly stunning looking phone without blemishes, despite being grade B.

I honestly have nothing bad to say about this.

The only reason I dropped a star is the battery health, despite being pretty good on lower health. Mainly as when I spend that much on a phone I do expect the battery health to be much higher and even 100% if you spend out for grade A. But certainly grade B should be over 85 or 90%.

Yet the phone itself is amazing, and is still one of the best iPhones out there.

I love my refurbished pro max 11 iphone! It looks great, everything works as it should, and couldn’t be happier with this transaction. I was certainly pleased with the cost! The only problems l have with it are problems with the operator-me lol l am not the most savvy tech user in this world being a senior citizen, myself. It gets interesting, sometimes, trying to figure out what to do to get what l want from phones and computers. But l usually win, with the help of my grandson and my son in law. They are very nice people who have a lot of patience.

I bought this for about 500-600 when I needed a new phone desperately, it came with dents and scratches to the body but I didn’t mind it bc the screen and battery life were great. It got it Dec. 1st of 2022 and it’s now March of 2024, the screen is lifting and I can see inside my phone, it overheats while charging and I now need a new phone as I’m not interested in fixing this one. ESPECIALLY since I’ve have it for less than 2 years and it’s falling apart on me…I had an XR for 3 years without software updates on it for about a year and no case before it completely fell apart on me. This is great if you need it ASAP for cheap but def not for long term usage, or if you’re young like I was (I was 18-19 ?)!

What a RIP OFF!!
This phone is in terrible condition! I was trusting Walmart to ved the quality of this supplier/ product, but this was a major fail! The camera does not even have glass on it!! It’s chipped up and broken. Every case I have purchased does not line up, telling me this is a cheap dud! Please take better care of your faithful customer base Walmart!
