You can read reviews all over the internet about this iPad. I am only going to review the "refurbished" aspect of this one that I purchased. I sort of expected it come in the retail box, but that was not the case. iPad arrived in a plain brown box, somewhat securely packaged (basically shrink-wrapped to a piece of cardboard in the inner box). It was a little disappointing, but I guess that is the difference between open-box and refurbished, and I should have expected it.

The iPad itself was in excellent shape, looked brand new. Works fine. The main problem is that they did not include the charger or charging cable, even though the listing says those are included. Had to trek over to my local Best Buy, where the CS person wanted to argue with me over what is and isn't included in refurbished products, despite me showing her the listing that says what's included. A manager overheard this argument and came over and made it right, providing me with a charger and cable. Still, it was a pain to deal with.

Overall, I am not sure I'd go refurbished again, even if it saved me about 17% off the price.

I was hesitant to buy an Apple product from Walmart in case it was a stripped down version specifically made for Walmart, or refurbished etc. But I went to the Apple Store, showed them the Walmart website, and asked if they could price match. They said they can take 10% off if they have the product in stock. They did not have it in stock and the associate looked at the ad, assured me it was exactly the same product, and told me to go to Walmart as that was a good deal. I went home and ordered it online as I did not want to go into another busy store (lots of COVID here). A couple of days later my iPad arrived - perfect condition and exactly as if I'd bought it from the Apple Store. I'll definitely be price shopping Apple products here in future.

I spent several months researching iPads, MacBooks, etc trying to decide what I wanted. I finally decided to go with the IPad Air and i am so glad that I did. This thing is awesome. I am so glad I went with the 11 inch as the 12.9 would have been way too big. This one seems to be perfect whether i am using landscape mode or portrait. I highly recommend. I paired it with the Apple Pencil and the Logitech Folio Touch. Hands down the best combination in my opinion.

My son absolutely loves this device! He needs it for college and it is absolutely perfect for taking notes. Attach a paper feel screen protector, and boom, the perfect note taking device that has unlimited notebooks, pages, a feature to find and search for certain notes, and etc. its impact on education cannot be understated. its also very well performing and can be used fir other things, like video editing and gaming pretty easily, which is always nice to have
