Received defective phone
johndeergurl· Review provided by walmart.com · July 29, 2024
If I could give it 0 stars I would. This purchase has been a nightmare. the camera on the phone has not worked since i made the purchase. I have tried trouble shooting and changing settings but nothing worked. I filed a claim with the protection plan and they said it was still under warranty and to contact the manufacturer (apple). I took the phone to an apple store and had diagnostics ran. The manufacturer reported the Gyro sensor was failing and the Rear wide camera was failing, and told me that the phone would need to be replaced. The manufacturer said it was NOT under warranty and that there was nothing they could do to help. I contacted the protection plan company back and told them and they refused to help me any further saying there was nothing they could do. I went to my local Walmart and they agreed to do an exchange, but they had no iphone 13 to exchange the defective phone with. They then agreed to refund my money, but could not get the refund system to work. I reached out to you for a return/refund and you denied me. My local walmart tried to do a refund again, but their system does not recognize the serial number of the phone. My local walmart ran a search on the serial number and it showed the serial number of the phone we have is not the serial number of the phone we purchased. My local walmart is unable to help any further. The serial number and the IMEI that the seller provided matches the serial number and IMEI on the phone we have but still refuses to help me resolve this problem. I do not recommend ever purchasing from this seller.
Blacklisted iphone / Major scuffs on metal Bezel
DT· Review provided by walmart.com · August 5, 2024
Bought this device as "restored like new / fully unlocked for any carrier."

Upon receiving the device, this was not the case at all. First of all, the packaging was very poor, the device was not protected or secured in any way in the box. The box nor package were even closed/sealed fully. The device has major scuffs on the outer metal bezel on all four corners which could not be possibly caused by the poor package job but whatever, then when confirming with my Carrier the IMEI number, the device is in fact blacklisted and not able to be used with my carrier. This is a huge disappointment as i have been without a phone and was counting on using this phone. So now i will be returning this device and im also out 40$ in which i paid the store for transferring my line. They denied a refund even though the phone is blacklisted. Buyer beware.
Awful

Awful just awful. If I could give it negative stars I would. I got it in the mail this afternoon it was for my wife for our anniversary. I got to set it up and open the package and open it and it looked like it had been dragged down the road. Dents all the way around the phone like deep ones and clearly visible. I’m like whatever I can get a case. I turn it on to set it up and I notice the battery is dying at a rapid pace. I check the battery health and it’s below the 80% advertised. So the battery is basically shot. Then I go to get my sim set up and it won’t connect. It took two hours on the phone with my carrier to get it to work. This is what I’ve found right off the bat. I can’t imagine what I’ll find wrong when I really look. The best part I got to call the 3rd party seller that I got it from and you can’t call them on the weekend they’re not there. So hopefully I’ll get to talk to them on Monday. This phone was a awful buy don’t waist your money
A bit disappointed and glitchy…
Jenn· Review provided by walmart.com · September 19, 2024
I have purchased refurbished phones for years here. And I will continue to do so. This is the first time I really wish I could return it and exchange it for another iPhone 13. It has so many glitches. It’s unbelievable. It glitches on 80% of my apps. It actually freezes on apps and I haven’t had that happen since my iPhone 5. I continually have to turn my phone off and on to get out of an app that has been frozen. I’m extremely disappointed that I’m stuck with a phone that works worse than the iPhone 11 that I have sitting in my drawer. I was also a little surprised that earbuds were not included, and I did purchase three phones, so I dropped quite a bit of money. But my philosophy is: It’s just a thing and no one is hurt so all is well.
